SOYEON KIM — Flute / Piccolo / Los Angeles

Soyeon Kim is a distinguished flutist with over three decades of orchestral and solo experience. She served as Associate Principal Flute with the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra for more than 25 years and has held principal roles with Alte Musik Seoul and the Ulsan Philharmonic Orchestra. A graduate of Seoul National University and the Conservatoire National Bourg-la-Reine in France, she is a prizewinner of major international competitions including the Europeen de Musique, Leopold-Bellan, and National du Jeunes Flutists Competitions. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Korea and abroad, and her playing has been shaped by influential teachers such as Alain Marion, Maxence Larrieu, and Philippe Bernold. Now based in Los Angeles, she continues to perform and collaborate actively.
